Bucketlist Experience
Packrafting is a sport that fully embodies the adventurous spirit of Alaska. Invented right here on the mountains and waterways of Alaskas vast wilderness; these single-person crafts have evolved over the years to become one of the premiere ways to access Alaska’s most remote places.
Your day starts out as your helicopter flight takes you past snow-capped mountain peaks, braided rivers, and glacier valleys. You’ll have an eagle’s eye view of glacial iceberg-filled lakes, towering waterfalls, and the unique wilderness of Alaska!
Once landed your NOVA Guide will introduce you to the world of packrafting! You will be outfitted with all necessary equipment and receive instruction on water safety & paddling your craft. Each person will then board their personal packraft and set off for an adventure.
While paddling keep an eye out for dall sheep, spawning salmon, bears, and moose!
This helicopter & paddling adventure is a combo experience you’ll never forget!

Start your day by flying over glaciers and the snow-capped mountain peaks of the Chugach Range. The helicopter will take us to a place that would have taken weeks to access on foot.

As we paddle downstream watch for bears, goats, sheep, and moose. After our whitewater run, we’ll get picked up by the helicopter and fly back to base camp.
