Looking for an unforgettable and active adventure? This half-day excursion with adventure guides and Outbound Heli Adventures is the perfect fit for you, and includes at least 40 minutes of flight time, and three hours on the ice exploring Knik Glacier. No trekking experience is necessary.
You will be outfitted with the necessary equipment, taught basic glacier travel skills, and trek on the glacier with an experienced guide.
Explore Knik Glacier’s deep crevasses, towering ice walls, and stunning blue ice formations making the Knik one of the most unique and picturesque glaciers in all of Alaska.
Half Day Ice Trekking Requirements:
Full Day Ice Trekking – 6 hours
Starting at $1099 per person
This is the best day trip in Alaska. Period. If you are looking for a longer adventure, the full day trekking excursion with adventure guides and Outbound Heli Adventures is the perfect fit.This excursion is inclusive of at least 40 minutes of flight time, and five hours on the ice exploring Knik Glacier. No prior trekking experience is necessary.
Once your helicopter lands on the ice, adventure guides will outfit you with the necessary equipment, taught basic glacier travel skills, and trek on the icy surface of Knik Glacier with an experienced glacier guide.
