You’ll spend over an hour meeting these furry Alaska athletes, visiting with the pups, learning about Alaska’s state sport of mushing, and hitch up the team! Once the dogs are ready to go, enjoy an exhilarating ride!

Dog Mushing & Glacier Details:

You’ll spend over an hour meeting these furry Alaska athletes, visiting with the pups, learning about Alaska’s state sport of mushing, and hitch up the team! Once the dogs are ready to go, enjoy an exhilarating ride!
After your time with the sled dogs, your helicopter will fly to a world of majestic blue pools and dramatic ice formations, where you’ll step out of your helicopter onto the icy surface of Knik Glacier.

Home of respected Iditarod musher Nic Petit and his kennel of lovable pups, you‘ll be greeted and shown to comfortable overnight accommodations on this 160-acre property offering views of the Talkeetna, Chugach and Alaska Mountain ranges. Enjoy a night’s stay in a cozy yurt, complete with a woodstove for added ambiance!
Choose between an evening dogsled ride (offered only to yurt guests) or a morning mushing experience. In the spring and summer guests are pulled on a specially-designed cart for a unique riding adventure, and in the winter, guests enjoy a snowy ride on a traditional dog sled.
